From fabulous surf beaches to boutique wineries, a lap around the race track or a host of some family activities, there is something for everyone when you visit Phillip Island. Why not add a little adventure with a helicopter flight over the island or for the more daring a skydiving experience with Phillip Island Helicopters. Panny's Chocolate Factory is on the main road at Newhaven and apart from fabulously delicious chocolate they have an interactive chocolate museum and great food and coffee in their cafe. Pelican feeding at San Remo is another family favourite and is one of the few things in life that is free, happening daily at the Jetty in San Remo around midday. Dining out on Phillip Island caters to families, couples and groups with an array of cafes, restaurants, bistros and coffee shops to satisfy the taste buds. The Foreshore Restaurant at Rhyll offers great dining with a fabulous view across the bay, Harry's on The Esplanade has a la carte dining with a backdrop of water and sunsets. Infused is in central Cowes and has an ever changing menu according to the seasons. San Remo hosts some great eateries as well with the Westernport Hotel which offers relaxed dining with views of the Bay and the fishing Jetty or for brunch the Lil Honey Cafe has a fabulous menu in a great location. Fai Thai is a local's favourite with the authentic taste of Thai Food and friendly staff. The San Remo Hotel has Mario cooking up a storm with big meals and quality ingredients. |
