The sunken lounge area is complete with a fully eqipped kitchenette, sprawling leather lounge suite, dining area and opens out onto the elfresco dining on the deck. If you want some fabulous views (like the one on this page) the upstairs mezzanine floor is where you could curl up with a good book, share a glass of wine or simply take in the vista over Churchill Island and the waters of Westernport Bay. This is a couples only retreat and your hosts have extensive knowledge on all local attractions, eateries, wineries and things to do while you are staying here.
An Island Reatreat is only 5 minutes from San Remo where you can still feel part of a slow paced fisihing village with 2 local pubs, some great shopping, fabulous cafes and bakeries and the convenience of a supermarket, petrol station, post office and other unique shopping and dining experiences.
Newhaven is renowned for it's quiet beauty - the walk around the foreshore allows you to take in some spectacular views over Westerport Bay to the Bass Hills, Churchill Island, French Island, Rhyll and beyond. Pack your fishing rod because there are a couple of jetties and some private sandy beaches where you can throw a line in and try your luck. It is also just a 10 minute drive to the Phillip Island Race Circuit, home of the Moto GP, Superbikes and V8 racing.
