In 1996 my life was a mess, I was in a black hole and didn't know how to get out of it. The temp agency I was working for gave me a one month month assignment at In Essence Aromatherapy that turned into a full time job in the customer service department. That's when things got better for me. Using the essential oils at home on myself and my family I could see that these little bottles of 'stuff' actually made a difference to how I felt. I started doing the in house training and helping out on weekends in the retailer training so that I could learn more about aromatherapy. After I had completed all of the training In Essence provided I felt I wanted to know more so I researched the schools in Melbourne and found a private college where I spent the next 2 years working full time and studying part time to earn my Diploma of Aromatherapy in 1999.

Discovering Aromatherapy changed my whole life and that is why I love it so much.

In 2001 I  returned to live at Phillip Island and started running my business from home. I introduced a mobile massage service to the guests and residents of Phillip Island and in 2008 was approached by the owner of a new Day Spa to work there. In December 2008 I found some office space in the main street of Cowes and turned it into the boutique Spa & Massage Centre that it is today.

When I opened Aromatherapy in Action I wanted to create a space where you could slow down and take your time and ensure it was relaxed as well as comfortable. Being upstairs ensures the centre is a quiet space and all of the ladies who work with me have the same philosophy as mine and that is to come from the heart. You can feel the difference when somebody loves what they do and we all love what we do.

3 years on and we have earnt the reputation as being one of the best places to have a massge on Phillip Island. Come and experience the difference for yourself.
