Hi, I'm Patricia Hanrahan, owner / manager of Aromatherapy in Action. I opened the doors to the current business address on December 17, 2008 and started with 1 room, 1 table.
By April 2009, due to demand, a second room opened up and another 2 massage tables were brought in, giving us a dual room for therapies.
A small team of experienced therapists were subcontracted and it started to 'feel' like a business. The team was hand picked because I wanted to keep the integrity of my values in delivering a healing experience in a nurturing environment. It was important to maintain time between appointments so that no body feels rushed and the team has time to do what is necessary between appointments without added pressure of 'watching the clock'.
In March 2012 we took over the 'front room' giving us the whole floor. So we now have 3 single treatment rooms plus one large room with 3 massage tables in it that we use for Couples Massage, Triple Treats and a training room when required.
It has been a journey that I have enjoyed very much, I believe in the saying "If you do what you love, the money will follow".
I love going to work and I love the work I do. I have a great team of people I work with and the atmosphere is calm and friendly.
I would recommend you try to book ahead as the team are not on call, I need to organise them in advance where possible.
